Two years ago we planned to paint Lydia's room pink and brown and then I had my car accident and painting was out of the question. Instead we bought a new bedspread to match the colors she already had. When we finally got ready to paint we decided to pull colors from her bedspread. Pink and Orange!!! pretty!!
Just painting stripes was also so much easier than painting the whole room...

Is it bright enough for you?? Lydia did almost all the painting.
I did the taping and the circles which covered the dragonflies.

Took two days to paint since we had to wait for the first stripe to dry overnight before we taped it.
You can see one of the dots above her bed but there are more around the room. She put her handprint inside each circle. Turned out very cute.
