Christmas Eve spent with family!! That's what it's all about!! I love our Christmas Eve traditions; going to church to celebrate the birth of Jesus (service ends with candles lit during "Silent Night", candles raised during "Joy to the World"), eating fried bread, chili and oyster stew (yuck - but the guys love it!), opening gifts from family and then playing new games...(We missed you June, Ken, Kisa and Kendall and James, Jenna and Ellie and Logan!!)
Grandma making a batch of cinnamon rolls!! Grandpa did the mixing and the kneading!! Yummy!! Yummy!! And I've only had one very small one...I hope there are still some left.
Playing Apples to Apples got a little loud on Christmas Eve....we've made new rules, state your case then sit back and wait for the judge, no yelling!!
